Jordan Ancel
is a multi-award winning writer, director, and producer, whose films have been in over 100 festivals worldwide. His latest feature film, The Unseen, starring RJ Mitte (Breaking Bad), had a successful theatrical run and is now available on all major streaming platforms including Apple & Amazon.
He currently has a multi-project deal with J. Todd Harris' Branded Pictures Entertainment (Trial of The Chicago 7, The Kids Are All Right, Lilly, Soul On Fire, Buena Vista Social Club, Chasing Summer) on film, TV, and Broadway projects.
Jordan began as an actor on Broadway in the short-lived musical Dream Time, which closed during previews because CBS bought the Ed Sullivan Theater to host Late Night with David Letterman. This led to Jordan being mentored by the iconic Mike Nichols (The Graduate, The Bird Cage) and Paul Sills (Second City founder), who remained lifelong friends .
Before relocating to Los Angeles in the mid-90s, he co-founded the Greenwhich House Theater Company in 1993 in the West Village of NYC. Members included Academy Award winners Kim Hunter (A Street Car Named Desire) and Sylvia Myles (Midnight Cowboy), with guests such as Harvey Keitel (Reservoir Dogs, The Piano). Ellen Barkin (Diner, The Big Easy) served on the board of directors.

NOTE: During the pandemic when artists were suffering in many ways, from lack of creative opportunities to being unable to afford groceries, this project was a way to give back while creating art. Our team raised $10,000 to produce this multi-camera Youtube live-streamed one-woman show, and sold tickets totalling over $14,000, 100% of which was donated to artists in need through Broadway Cares and the Jacquel Knight Foundation.
This was the very first of it's kind live-stream theater piece produced during 2020, and among the most effective in helping those in need.
